What We did

Woodford Reserve were launching their new creative platform, ‘Spectacle for the Senses’ and trying to appeal to a new audience who we not necessarily keen whiskey drinkers. They turned to VICE to help them bridge the gap to this new audience and find a creative way to help bring their new positioning to life.

Taking inspiration form the synesthesia phenomenon and the interplay between our senses, we turned the VICE studio into an immersive sensory experience for the VICE host Bupe Bhima. In a series of ‘experiments’ we got her to drink some Woodford Reserve cocktails whilst having her senses bombarded to see if she could correctly guess what flavours were in the drink. To accompany the video we also created an editorial & cocktail guide that featured the drinks we made.
