What we did
To launch their new Gen-Z focused beer, Heineken Silver, Heineken wanted to send up the current advertising industry obsession with the metaverse. With a tounge-in-cheek launch in the digital world with a ‘tasteless’ beer, Heineken turned to VICE to help land the irreverant tone of voice.
We created a ‘behind the scenes’ mockumentary featuring VICE host Bupe Bhima and the artist behind the project J.Demsky. To accompany this we created a VICE launch party review editorial as well as a rave style promo video for the IRL launch events.
